Personal Care

Getting Started

Personal Care Service Line

Central Pyramid’s Personal Care service line is designed to help individuals remain safely and comfortably in their homes with the right level of day-to-day support. We operate two distinct personal care offerings: a large Oklahoma Medicaid personal care program and a private-pay personal care service. Together, these services extend our ability to support patients, families, and referral partners across a broader continuum of care.

Our Oklahoma Medicaid personal care program is one of the largest in the state and reflects our long-standing commitment to serving individuals who need support with daily living activities in the home setting. This service line provides essential non-skilled assistance that helps eligible individuals maintain independence, preserve routines, and receive care in the environment they know best.

This program is operationally significant because of its scale, community reach, and connection to Oklahoma’s home and community-based care infrastructure. It also strengthens our broader care continuum by allowing us to support individuals who may not need home health or hospice, but who do need reliable assistance to remain safely at home.

Key priorities for this service line include maintaining strong caregiver availability, ensuring compliance with state program requirements, supporting quality documentation, and continuing to deliver dependable service in a highly regulated environment.

Oklahoma Medicaid Personal Care

Private-pay personal care is an important strategic complement to our clinical service lines. It provides families with an option before skilled care is needed, alongside skilled care when additional support is helpful, or after a clinical episode when ongoing assistance can help preserve stability at home.

Our private-pay personal care offering serves individuals and families who need flexible, non-medical support at home and prefer to pay directly for services.

This line is designed around convenience, responsiveness, and personalized assistance, helping clients with activities such as companionship, homemaking, meal preparation, light household support, personal assistance, and routine daily needs.

This service line also gives Central Pyramid a meaningful opportunity to deepen relationships with patients and families, expand our aging-in-place platform, and support individuals across a longer portion of their care journey.

Personal Care is an important part of Central Pyramid’s broader growth strategy because it expands our ability to meet people where they are.

By operating both Medicaid and private-pay personal care models, Central Pyramid is positioned to serve a wider range of needs, strengthen local market presence, and create a more complete home-based care platform.

Not every individual needs skilled home health or hospice care, but many need practical, compassionate support to remain at home with dignity and confidence.

This service line supports our mission, reinforces our community-based model, and creates additional opportunities for coordinated growth across home health, hospice, and future care-at-home services.
